Build on Intentos with the API, CLI and MCP
Generate images and drive the Intentos studio from your own code: authentication with API keys, the REST API, the command line tool and the MCP server.
Introduction
The IntentOS API lets you generate images and drive the studio programmatically, from your own code, the intentos CLI, or any MCP client like Claude and Cursor. Every request is authenticated with an API key and spends credits from your account.
Base URL: https://intentos.eu. All endpoints live under /api/v1 and return JSON.
New here? Jump to Quickstart, you can generate your first image in under a minute.
Quickstart
1. Create an API key at Dashboard → Settings → API Keys. Copy it, it is shown only once.
2. Generate an image:
bash — bashcurl -X POST https://intentos.eu/api/v1/images \-H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_your_key" \-H "Content-Type: application/json" \-d '{ "prompt": "a neon dragon over Tokyo", "model": "nano-banana-pro", "ratio": "16:9" }'
3. The response contains hosted image URLs and your remaining balance:
json — json{"images": [{ "url": "https://…/studio/….jpg", "id": "…" }],"model": "nano-banana-pro","credits_spent": 8,"credits_remaining": 992}
